Anyway...so I am aiming my vision board for the near future (5 years). I currently have 5 items on it.
1. The Car - I used to really want a Lexus, but ever since Twilight...darn you..you know who you are...I really want Carlisle's car...a Mercedes. I've been doing some research and it's not too bad. Some models are even cheaper than the Lexus I wanted. So yay!
2. The Trip - I really want to go on an Alaska Cruise!!!
3. The Home - A condo to start with and eventually a house. But just really a place that I can make warm and inviting and call home. :)
4. The Body - I really want a nice body. I've been sorta letting myself go...I won't say how bad...let's just say McDonalds, 2 extra value meals...and 3 episodes of Charmed...not a pretty picture!!! But I am now on a good diet and doing P90X. It's kicking my okole, but I'm starting to see the difference. So YAY!
5. The Boyfriend - Now this one is totally funny!! To make a short story long...so I know I would probably prefer an asian guy. So I was looking for pictures on Google for "Asian, Male, Short"...and this picture comes up on the top row:
Okay...here is the story...I TOTALLY know this guy! If you recognize him, it's probably from a movie called "Saving Face" where he played "Little Yu". I know him because he is one of my girlfriends ex-boyfriends!!! I met him when she came to visit me and attend a wedding in Hawaii. He is the NICEST guy!!! He even autographed my copy of "Saving Face"...so da nice yeah! Plus he's pretty hot no? Anyways...getting to the point...I said that this is the picture I must use for my "Boyfriend" vision. There is another picture under this heading, but let's not talk about that.
There...that's my vision board. But then, Val asked me...what about your job? (oh...I gotta be careful with this one since co-workers read this...ummmm...) anyway...my response is that my job is only a means to obtain what I really want in life...car, home, travel...I don't have any job that would be a "goal" for me. So yeah.
I've actually been pretty blessed when it comes to work. Jobs always sorta fell my way. I did work quite hard to land my first job at HVCB, but after that I was very lucky. Even to this day. *edit* I doubt I'll retire from the company I currently work for, but I think (and hope) that I'll have a job here for a while. :)
Anyways...so that's my long-short story about my vision board. So far, I think it's really been working and I see my goals every morning when I wake up. I wanted to write this entry so that I have a record of this and I can look back on it 5 years from now. Plus, I'm hoping placing my visions in multiple places will help build encouragement and really get me through it all. :)

Wow, that Little Yu guy IS hot . . . but "short" doesn't appeal to me. I doubt you'll retire from our company too, but if you hang around until at least I retire, then I'll be happy. MY vision is that it'll be in 3 years!
